Shabbaton Refund Policy
1. If an NCSYer cancels his/her registration for a Shabbaton before the application deadline (which is usually,
but not always, 2 weeks before the Shabbaton), Har Sinai NCSY will give him/her a full refund.
2. Should the NCSYer cancel his/her registration between the application deadline and 72 hours before the
Shabbaton begins, s/he will receive a 50% refund, and 50% credited towards next Shabbaton.
3. If the NCSYer cancels his/her registration within 72 hours of the Shabbaton, s/he will not receive a refund.
However, 50% of the registration money will be credited for their next Shabbaton.
4. If no notification is given, no money will be refunded or credited.
In order to cancel a Shabbaton registration, either the participant or their parent/guardian must notify the Regional Office of the cancellation (585-615-7237). Notifying a chapter advisor, board member or local Rabbi is not sufficient, and no refund can be made in such cases. Cancellations cannot be made by e-mail.
